Medical disclaimer

The schedules, calculators and breed information on Puplr are general in nature and are compiled from published veterinary guidelines and kennel club sources. They are typical starting points. Your vet will change them based on your puppy's history, the vaccines and products available where you live, local disease pressure, and your puppy's own health.

Do not delay a vet visit, and do not stop or change a treatment your vet has prescribed, because of something you read here. If your puppy is unwell, contact a vet. Lethargy, refusing food, repeated vomiting, diarrhoea, a swollen or painful abdomen, laboured breathing, seizures, collapse, or suspected poisoning are emergencies. Call your vet or an emergency clinic immediately rather than reading a website.

Accuracy and currency

Veterinary guidelines are revised. Vaccine products, licensing and legal requirements differ by country, state, province and council, and change over time. Rabies vaccination requirements in the United States are set by state law and in Canada by provincial and municipal law, and Puplr does not track every jurisdiction. Every effort is made to source facts from primary organisations and to date the pages, but Puplr makes no guarantee that the information is current or complete at the moment you read it. Where sources disagree, the site says so.

Dosing and products

Puplr never recommends a dose. Worming and parasite products are dosed by weight, are not all licensed for young puppies, and some are dangerous to certain breeds. The product label and your vet decide the dose and the product, always.

Advertising disclosure

Puplr does not choose which specific ads appear, does not endorse advertised products, and receives no editorial input from advertisers. Advertising revenue does not influence the content of the schedules or the breed pages.
